Jumpstreet offers a variety of great plans that help protect your educational travel investment based on your country of origin. Most of our travellers purchase the Travel Protection Plan Plus, which includes an insurance package from TuGo (for Canadian travellers and U.S. travellers visiting Canada) or Trip Mate (for U.S. travellers on domestic U.S. or non-Canadian international trips). If you are unsure which provider applies to your trip, please refer to your tour proposal and/or parent letter, where the insurance product name is clearly indicated.

The cost of the Travel Protection Plan Plus for U.S. travellers is $28 US per day for flight and coach trips—up to a maximum of $420 US. The cost of the Travel Protection Plan Plus for Canadian travellers is $28 CA per day for flight trips and $20 CA per day for coach trips—up to a maximum of $420 CA. The plan should be purchased within 10 days of your tour enrolment to ensure maximum coverage and cannot be refunded after 7 days from purchase.
All claims must be submitted in writing. For more information on our travel protection plans, Canadian passengers can refer to TuGo Explorer Package, and U.S. passengers can refer to Trip Mate Travel Protection Plan or TuGo Explorer Package pending their trip destination.
Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Waiver benefit*
When you purchase the Travel Protection Plan Plus within 10 days of the initial deposit/payment for your trip, you will also receive the WorldStrides Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Waiver benefit. The CFAR waiver allows individual participants to cancel their trip for any reason not otherwise covered by their insurance policy. WorldStrides will reimburse them for 75% of the applicable non-refundable cancellation fees, provided they cancel more than 2 days before the scheduled trip departure date.
*The Cancel For Any Reason Waiver Benefit is provided by WorldStrides and is not a TuGo insurance policy benefit.
