DAY 1 · DEPARTURE - NEW YORK CITY
  • Departure from your school.
  • Arrive in New York City and meet your Tour Director! Kick things off with an orientation session about Spanish language and culture in North America.
  • Visit Top of the Rock and enjoy unparalleled views of New York City from the 70th-floor Observation Deck at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
  • Experience the electric energy of Times Square during some free time to explore the area.
  • Savour classic Cuban dishes at Havana Central in Times Square, then move to the rhythms of Cuba during a lively salsa class led by professional dancers.
  • Check in your group at the hotel before enjoying a good night's sleep.
DAY 2 · NEW YORK CITY
  • Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your day.
  • Take in sweeping views of Manhattan and Brooklyn as you stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge.
  • Explore Loisaida (Lower East Side) with your Tour Director, a vibrant neighbourhood with historic Hispanic and immigrant roots, followed by some free time to explore on your own!
  • Dive into Mexican culinary culture during a live cooking demonstration, learning about ingredients, techniques, and flavours of Latin cuisine.
  • Participate in a bilingual theatre workshop at El Teatro SEA, exploring Latinx stories through performance and creative expression.
  • Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant, followed by a Latin percussion session, where you'll feel the rhythms of merengue, cumbia, and salsa.
  • Return to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.
DAY 3 · NEW YORK CITY - DEPARTURE
  • Have breakfast at the hotel and pack your luggage for departure. 
  • Explore El Museo del Barrio to discover vibrant Latin American art, history, and culture .
  • Taste local flavours on your stop at La Marqueta market in East Harlem.
  • Stroll through Central Park and stop at famous sites like the Bethesda Fountain, Strawberry Fields, the Pond, and the Alice in Wonderland statue.
  • It’s already the end of your trip! Say goodbye to your Tour Director as you depart for your school and meet back with your families.
