Sample itinerary for winter trips to Ottawa:

DAY 1 · DEPARTURE - OTTAWA
  • Departure from your school.
  • Arrive in Ottawa and meet your Tour Director—it’s time to begin your trip!
  • Stretch your legs on a walk of Parliament Hill to see landmarks like the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Famous Five Monument, Victoria Statue, and Centennial Flame.
  • Take a guided tour of the Parliament Buildings, like the House of Commons and East Block, to learn about Canada’s democracy and the Canadian parliamentary system.
  • Have dinner at a delicious local restaurant before heading out for an evening of snow tubing down the slippery slopes of Sommet Edelweiss.
  • Check in your group at the hotel before enjoying a good night’s sleep.

DAY 2 · OTTAWA

DAY 3 · OTTAWA - DEPARTURE

  • Explore Aboriginal art to the history of the Zamboni at the Canadian Museum of History.
  • Tour the Supreme Court of Canada to learn about the past, present and future of the highest tribunal in the country.
