Sample itinerary for winter trips to Montréal : 

DAY 1 · DEPARTURE - MONTRÉAL
  • Departure from your school.
  • Arrive in Montréal and meet your Tour Director—it’s time to begin your trip!
  • Explore charming Old Montréal on an orientation walk with your Tour Director to see, Place Jacques-Cartier, City Hall, Marché Bonsecours, the Old Port, and the Notre-Dame Basilica.
  • Head to the Archaeological Museum of Pointe-à-Callière to learn all about the roots of Montreal's rich heritage.
  • Have dinner at a delicious local restaurant.
  • Experience the Notre-Dame Basilica in a very different way during tonight's viewing of AURA, an multimedia show created by Montréal's very own, Moment Factory!
  • Check in your group at the hotel before enjoying a good night's sleep.
DAY 2 · MONTRÉAL
  • Start the day with breakfast at the hotel or at a local restaurant.
  • Hop on a tour with a local guide to see city views, both old and new, trendy neighbourhoods, world class universities, urban art, and theatres.
  • Make your way atop Mount-Royal to practice your ice skating skills on Beaver Lake.
  • Warm up in the famous Underground City, a network of malls, museums and restaurants during some free time for lunch and to explore.
  • See Montréal’s cultural hub on a walk through Le Quartier des Spectacles, including the renovated Esplanade Tranquille and Place des Arts—the city’s top venue for concerts & festivals. 
  • Have dinner at a delicious local restaurant.
  • Head out to the arena in time for puck drop at tonight's Junior Major Hockey League game.
  • Head back to the hotel for a good night's sleep.
DAY 3 · MONTRÉAL
  • Start the day with breakfast at the hotel or at a local restaurant.
  • Travel through the ecosystems of the Americas as you visit Montreal's newly renovated Biodome, followed by a tour of the Olympic Stadium, host to the 1976 Summer Olympics.
  • Local graffiti artists are going to show you how to (legally!) create your own urban masterpieces.
  • Explore the hip Plateau Mont-Royal, with all its vintage clothing stores, record shops and quaint cafés.
  • Feast and dance the night away in an authentic French Canadian sugar shack, including folk music, and sweet maple treats.
  • Head back to the hotel for a good night's sleep.
DAY 4 · MONTRÉAL - DEPARTURE
  • Have breakfast at the hotel and pack up your luggage for departure. 
  • Team up for a Canadian classic and learn the sport of curling. 
  • Partake in our Grocery Scavenger Hunt at Montreal's busiest (and most delicious) market, le Marché Jean-Talon!
  • It’s already the end of your trip! Head back and say goodbye to your Tour Director before reuniting with your families at the school.
