The City of Lights meets the Eternal City! What better way to introduce your students to Europe than by visiting two of the most historic and celebrated cities in the world, Paris and Rome. As if guiding your students through the charm and eccentricity of Paris isn't cool enough, the history and character of Rome will mix in some dolce vita for good measure. Adventure awaits!

Here's What's On Deck:

Arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport after your overnight flight, meet with your tour leader and hop on your motorcoach to head to the centre of Paris.

Guided city tour to take in all the popular sites, including l’Arc de Triomphe, les Champs Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, le Louvre, Notre-Dame, and more…

Free time for lunch and to explore downtown Paris (individual expense).

Stop at Palais de Chaillot square, the best spot in all of Paris to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower.

Head to the top of the famous Eiffel Tower. At over 276 meters high, you’ll have the best view of the city.

Head over to the hotel for check-in and unwind before heading out for supper at a nearby restaurant.

Time to settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest to counter the jetlag.

Explore the world-famous Louvre on a tour led by a specialized guide.

Take a stroll through Square du Vert-Gallant, at the tip of l’Ile de la Cité in the heart of the Seine, on your way to the Latin Quarter.

Grab lunch in one of the many small, delicious, and affordable ethnic restaurants in the Latin Quarter (individual expense).

Break off into small groups for free time to explore l’Ile St-Louis and l’Ile de la Cité.

Visit the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece that was built more than 8 centuries ago.

Free time to discover and shop in Les Halles, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. 

Spend the evening exploring Beaubourg and its surroundings before walking towards City Hall and Notre-Dame.

Return to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Make your way to the d’Orsay museum for a guided tour of some of the world’s greatest artists, including Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir and Van Gogh.

Stroll along the Seine River towards the Hotel des Invalides, the resting place of Napoleon. Grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

Visit of the Hotel des Invalides, famous for its gold dome.

All aboard! Your « bateau-mouche » along the Seine will provide further insight into the famous sites of Paris: la tour Eiffel, le Louvre, la Conciergerie, la Cathédrale Notre−Dame, l’Hôtel de Ville and much more.

End the afternoon by walking towards the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Élysées.

Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant followed by a well-deserved night’s rest at the hotel.

Breakfast and check-out with your tour leader before heading to the airport for your flight to Rome.

Arrive in Rome by the early afternoon and, after a brief orientation tour, enjoy free time for lunch (individual expense).

Pass through Appia Antica, which used to be the main road during the Roman Empire era. Stop at the San Callisto catacombs for a guided visit.

Check in to you hotel, walking distance from countless major monuments. Enjoy dinner followed by a well-deserved night’s rest.

Hop on the metro to the Vatican and enjoy a walking tour of the Vatican Museum, featuring the Sixtine Chapel and its vault, painted by Michelangelo at the start of the XVIe century.

Discover St-Peter’s basilica, where virtually every great architect of the storied Renaissance era participated in its construction. 

Free time for lunch near the Piazza Navona (individual expense).

Spend the afternoon discovering downtown Rome. Your adventure will most likely bring you to the Pantheon, the incredible ceilings of St-Ignace, Marc-Aurele’s column, the Trevi Fountain and the majestic staircase of the Trinita dei Monti. 

Time to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a well-deserved night’s rest.

Transfer via motor coach to the Castelli Romani region to enjoy a guided tour of the Villa de Este, built in the Renaissance period and famous for its gardens and fountains.

Free time for lunch in Tivoli (individual expense).

Guided tour of the Villa Adriana, summer residence built by Hadrien between 125 and 135 A.D.

Make your way back to Rome to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and a well-deserved night rest at the hotel.

Walking tour of central Rome, where you’ll discover the Palatin, former residence of the Roman Emperors and other notable aristocrats, and the epic Coliseum.

Free time for lunch around the Coliseum (individual expense).

Visit the August Forum, the famous Trajan Column, the Capitol including the Arcoeli staircase, the Piazza del Campidoglio and the Palazzo Senatorio.

Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying your last moments in Rome by having some free time to roam around.

Dinner at a local restaurant in downtown Rome, followed by a well-deserved night’s rest.

Check out from your hotel after breakfast and head over to the airport to register for your flight.
