You'll cover a lot of ground here - from Paris to Strasbourg to Mainz - all while visiting world-famous museums, monuments, and landscapes that will both inspire and impress.

Here's What's On Deck:

Meet at the airport to check in for your flight to Paris.

Arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport, meet with your tour leader and hop on your motorcoach to head to the centre of Paris.

Guided city tour to take in all the popular sites, including l’Arc de Triomphe, les Champs Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, le Louvre, Notre-Dame, and more…

Free time for lunch and to explore downtown Paris (individual expense).

Stop at Palais de Chaillot square, the best spot in all of Paris to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower.

Head to the top of the famous Eiffel Tower. At over 276 meters high, you’ll have the best view of the city.

Head over to the hotel for check-in and unwind before heading out for supper at a nearby restaurant.

Time to settle-in and enjoy a well-deserved rest to counter the jetlag.

Explore one of the richest museums in the world, the Louvre, on a tour led by a specialized guide. After the tour, continue to explore the extraordinary collections of the museum on your own.

Take a stroll through Square du Vert-Gallant, at the tip of l’Ile de la Cité in the heart of the Seine, on your way to the Latin Quarter.

Indulge in one of the many small, delicious and affordable ethnic restaurants of the Latin Quarter during your free time for lunch (at individual expense).

Break off into small groups to explore l’Ile St-Louis and l’Ile de la Cité on your own.

Explore the gorgeous Luxembourg gardens before making your way to dinner at a nearby local restaurant.

All aboard! Your « bateau-mouche » along the Seine will provide further insight into the famous sites of Paris: la tour Eiffel, le Louvre, la Conciergerie, la cathédrale Notre−Dame, l’Hôtel de Ville and much more.

Return to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

All aboard! Next stop: Alsace.

Guided visit dedicated to the First World War and the battles that took place around Verdun. Your guide will lead you towards the Fort de Douaumont, as well as the Ossuary, the resting place of countless fallen WWI soldiers.

Time for lunch and free time in Verdun (individual expense).

Visit the Citadelle museum, a showcase of Verdun’s role during WWI. The Galleries included 6 powder magazines, 7 weaponry stores, a bakery, a hospital, a mill, a telephone and telegraph exchange, water-lifting equipment for the town and its forts, kitchens and vast storerooms.

Head towards Strasbourg, the heart of l’Alsace, and check in to your hotel.

Free time for supper and to explore the historic city center, including the superb French quarters or simply stroll around Kleber Place (individual expense).

Return to the hotel for a well-deserved nights rest.

Visit the Struthof concentration camp. With tens of thousands of lives lost here between the years 1941 and 1944, Stuthof is a sobering yet crucial reminder of the depths of human tragedy.

Departure towards Haut Koenigsbourg castle. Grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

Step back in time at the imposing, picturesque Haut Koenigsbourg castle. You will see the Black Forest to one side and the vineyards of Vosges to the other.

Visit a vineyard near Riquewihr, where you’ll explore timeless wine cellars and learn all about the different methods of production.

Return to Strasbourg for free time, supper, and a well-deserved night’s rest at your hotel.

All aboard! Next stop: Colmar, the hidden jewel of Alsace.

Arrive in Colmar to explore Little Venice, the oldest part of the city.  Similar to Venice in Italy, the city is connected by a network of charming canals.

Free time for lunch and to explore with your group (individual expense).

Departure for the city of Baden-Baden, perhaps best known for its natural thermal baths.

Arrive in Baden-Baden and hit the Carcella Thermes spa, where artesian wells provide silky bath-like water that’s naturally rich in sodium chloride. Enjoy water falls, jacuzzis, aroma-therapy, saunas, and much more!

Free time to explore and take in the shops in Gernsbacher Strasse before making your way to Karlsruhe for supper (individual expense).

Check in to your hotel in Karlsruhe and settle in for a well-deserved night’s rest.

All aboard! Next stop: Heidelberg, a prestigious University town full of youth and charm.

Explore the stunning Neckar Valley, known for world-famous castles and endless photo opportunities.

Free time in Heidelberg to explore the Marketplatz, the Jesuitenkirche, and the Heiliggeistkirche. Don’t forget to grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

Departure for Koblenz, situated at the crossroads of Rhin and Moselle, two of Europe’s most storied rivers. Visit the St Kastor Basilica and the Deutshes Eck, the focal point between Rhin and Moselle where you will see the monument of Guillaume the 1st.

Free time to enjoy Koblenz and grab supper (individual expense).

Check in to your hotel and settle in for a well-deserved nights rest.

All aboard! Next stop: Mainz, the capital of the Rhineland and birthplace of typography.

Arrive in Mainz and visit the Gutenberg Museum to learn about the history of the written word, including an original 42-line copy of a 15th Century Bible.

Departure aboard your motorcoach to the Rudesheim Wharfs. Grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

Set sail aboard your afternoon cruise through the Rhineland Valley, a comprehensive visit of this breathtaking artery that runs through Germany.

End your cruise in Boppard for free time to explore this lovely coastal town.

Make your way back to Koblenz on the road less travelled, where you’ll see a plethora of castles and other medieval heritage along the way.

Arrive in Koblenz for free time and supper (individual expense).

Head back to your hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest. 

Check out from your hotel after breakfast and head over to the airport to register for your flight.
