Your class will come to life on this epic student trip to Paris, Normandy, and London - 10 days of enriching history and adventure where language and world events weave as one. You'll practice French in one of the most beautiful and distinct cities in the world; you'll retrace the final act of World War Two along the beaches of Normany, and you'll be positively charmed by London's dynamic personality.

Here's What's On Deck:

Arrive at the airport to check in for your flight to Paris.

Land in Paris, meet up with your Tour Leader and hop aboard your locally-chartered motorcoach to make your way downtown.

Guided city tour with your Tour Leader to see: l’Arc de Triomphe, les Champs Élysées, la tour Eiffel, le Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and much, much more!

Free time for lunch and exploration in small groups (individual expense).

Stop at Palais de Chaillot, the best spot in all of Paris for photos of the Eiffel Tower in all its glory.

You can't visit Paris without heading to the top of the famous Eiffel Tower! At over 276 meters high, you're in for one heck of a view of the city.

Head over to the hotel to check-in before enjoying supper at a nearby local restaurant.

Time to settle in and enjoy a well-deserved night's rest.

Time to visit another Paris essential: le Louvre. First take part in an hour-and-a-half tour with a specialized resident guide before enjoying time on your own to explore and enjoy all of the amazing exhibits.

Make your way to the Latin Quarter. On your way, you'll pass by Vert-Gallant Square overlook the Seine and île de la Cité.

Grab lunch in the Latin Quarter, where the city's diversity is on full display through the neighbourhood's wide array of delicious and affordable ethnic restaurants (individual expense).

Take the afternoon to explore l’île St−Louis and l’île de la Cité in small groups. You'll stop at the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral, which took a staggering 170 years to build.

Finish your afternoon touring the beautiful Luxembourg gardens before making your way to a nearby local restaurant.

Spend your evening discovering Beaubourg and its famous fountains before retracing your steps to the Notre Dame Cathedral to see it lit up at night.

End the day with a walking tour of the Louvre courtyard before heading back to the hotel for a well-deserved night's rest.

Guided tour of the Musée d'Orsay, where you'll admire paintings by Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh, and more.

Enjoy a morning stroll along the Seine as you make your way towards Les Invalides. You'll have time for lunch and to explore in small groups along the way (individual expense).

Visit Les Invalides and its golden dome, where several renowned French military icons, including Napoleon, are laid to rest.

Embark on a narrated cruise along the Seine to see Paris’ most famous monuments from a different angle, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Town Hall and much more…

Make your way to les Champs Élysées, lined with some of the world’s greatest fashion flagships, from the Arc de Triomphe to Avenue Montaigne.

Dinner with the group at local restaurant near les Champs-Élysées before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

 

 

 

Breakfast and orientation with your Tour Leader before checking out and heading off to Normandy.

Stop en route to visit the Gaillard castle for a breathtaking view of the Seine Valley.

Time for lunch in the beautiful port city of Honfleur (individual expense). While you're there, your Tour Leader will take you to the Vieux Bassin and Sainte Catherine's wharf. You'll also see Saint Catherine's Church, a unique structure built in hommage to the city's naval history.

Hop back on your motorcoach for the final leg of your road trip. You'll arrive at your hotel in time before dinner.

Settle in for some free time with your group and a well-deserved night's rest.

Visit the Caen Memorial and see an interactive multimedia presentation that contextualizes D-Day against other major 20th-Century conflicts.

Grab lunch at the memorial (individual expense).

Retrace modern history during your guided visit of the D-Day landing sites. You'll visit the Battery of Longues-sur-Mer where remains of the fortifications along the “Atlantic Wall” include a command tower and four armed bunkers.

Visit Pointe du Hoc, an important battleground during the D-Day invasion. It now features a memorial and museum dedicated to the battle.

Stop at the Colleville cemetaries, which extends as far as the eye can see. It's a sobering moment for any global citizen, but an important one nonetheless.

Time for dinner at a local restaurant before heading over to Caen for your ferry transfer across the English Channel to Portsmouth, England.

You'll dine and sleep aboard your ferry (interior quadruple cabins).

Breakfast and orientation aboard the ferry with your Tour Leader before landing in Porstmouth and meeting your locally-chartered motorcoach for the ride to London!

Stop en route for a tour of the Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest and most famous in England... in part because it was used to film part of the Da Vinci Code!

Continue your journey to London; grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

What better way to kick off your stay in London than with a stop at the London Eye, an immense ferris wheel offering a spectacular view of the city!

Check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to refresh and recharge.

Dinner at a local restaurent before settling in for a well-deserved night's rest.

Walking tour of some of London's finest, from the Houses of Parliament to Big Ben, from Downing Street to St. James Park.

Tour the perimeter of Westminster Abbey, the most famous church in England and just a stone's throw away from Big Ben. Nearly all of English royalty has been crowned here including Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and, most recently, Kate Middleton.

Watch the ceremonial changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace before breaking off into small groups for free time and lunch (individual expense.

Continue your walking tour towards Piccadilly Circus, a commercial hub, before visiting the immense Egyptian collection at the famous British Museum, the oldest museum in the world.

Time for dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved night's rest.

Breakfast and orientation at the hotel with your Tour Leader. Get ready for another full day in London using public transport!

Visit the Tower of London, a prison and lookout post built by William the Conqueror. You'll learn about the gruesome life of a medieval prisoner, not to mention a glimpse at the Crown Jewels!

Cross the famous Tower Bridge towards the Tate Modern, where you'll grab lunch (individual expense).

Visit the Tate Modern. Situated next to the Thames, this former power station has become a world capital of modern art. Exhibitions include Rachel Whiteread, Frida Kahlo, Martin Kippenberger, Mark Rothko, Kandinsky, and much more.

Make your way into Covent Garden, famous for its street performers and endless market stalls, boutiques, and cafes. You'll definitely want to see the action pouring out onto Leicester Square.
