Meet at the airport to check in for your flight to Lyon. Here's a bird's eye view of all the ground you'll be covering!

 

 

Arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport, meet with your tour leader and hop on your motorcoach to head to Normandy.

Stretch your legs during some free time for lunch and to explore in Honfleur (individual expense).

Discover the Old Basin and le quai Sainte Catherine, not to mention one of Honfleur’s main attractions: l’église Sainte Catherine.

Enjoy supper with the group at a local restaurant before checking in to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Visit the Caen Memorial and see an interactive multimedia presentation illustrating the conflicts of the 20th century. Grab some lunch on site (individual expense).

Spend the afternoon on the beaches of Normandy at Longues-sur-Mer where you’ll retrace World War II, including fortifications of the Atlantic Wall.

Visit Pointe du Hoc, an important WWII battleground and home to a memorial and museum dedicated to the D-Day invasion.

Stop to pay your respects at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial at Colleville, an expanse of 9,387 graves that stretches as far as the eye can see.

Return to the hotel for dinner and a well-deserved night’s rest.

All aboard, next stop: Mont Saint-Michel.

Guided tour of Mont Saint-Michel. This architectural marvel is nestled in the middle of a bay that is flooded by Europe’s highest tides. Grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

Get orientated during your tour of Saint-Malo, the fortified walled city and home town of Jacques Cartier, founder of Canada in 1534.

Stroll along the imposing ramparts and relax on the superb beach.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Saint-Malo before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

All aboard! Next stop: Loire Valley. Stop for lunch en route (individual expense).

Visit the troglodyte village of Rochemenier, dug in flat land around ancient open-sky quarries. Discover ancient farms, an underground chapel, and a modernised troglodyte house, showing how it's still possible, today, to use this kind of lodging.

Check in to the hotel to relax and unwind before dinner at a local restaurant.

Free time to discover the old tower, timber-framed houses, and Plumereau place, the trendy gathering spot in the old town.

Visit Amboise, located on the banks of La Loire, and visit Leonardo de Vinci’s home, the Clos Lucé. The museum gardens will allow you to discover several life-size reproductions of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous inventions.

Visit the Château de Chenonceau, an elegant castle from the Renaissance era.

Navigate the caves of Monmousseau, a network of 15 km of art carved into tuffeau stone.

Learn all of the details of the process of traditional wine making.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Guided tour of one of the richest museums in the world, the Louvre.

Stroll through Square du Vert-Gallant before lunch in the Latin Quarter (individual expense).

Free time in l’Ile St-Louis and l’Ile de la Cité before visiting the epic Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Explore Les Halles district before heading off to dinner with the group at a local restaurant.

Spend the evening aboard a narrated cruise on the Seine to see Paris' finest at night, followed by a well-deserved night’s rest at the hotel.

Get a lay of the land atop one of the most iconic monuments in the world: La Tour Eiffel

Walk along les Champs Élysées, lined with some of the world’s greatest fashion designers, from the Arc de Triomphe to Avenue Montaigne. Grab lunch along the way (individual expense).

Stroll along Place Vendôme on your way to a guided tour of the storied Opéra Garnier.

Free time to shop in the area before sitting down to dinner at a local restaurant

Return to the hotel for a well-deserved night rest.
