''I was blessed with the opportunity to have worked and lived in dozens of countries around the world. I have experienced things that many only dream of! What made all of these life changing experiences amazing were the people. People I travelled with, friendships I developed, people back home I shared my stories with and even the stranger’s kind smile as we crossed paths; they are what made it all worthwhile, they are what I treasure, they are my bigger world!''

In January 1998 I hopped on a motor coach bound for Quebec City with Mark Clarke.  We met a bus load of students from Massachusetts and a driver named Bob.  I had no idea what I was getting into when Mark first invited me to come and see what he did.  I was so impressed by the opportunity to be able to share my culture as well as my love for life and travel that I became immediately hooked.  This was my first Jumpstreet Tour and has been one of my most memorable and influential travel experiences ever.  Since that first trip, I have been on hundreds of buses and met thousands of students and their teachers who share a common passion for life and travel.

''After a 48 hour trek from Rome to the Greek Islands by train, bus and 2 ferries without sleep – I am forever bonded to the notion of travel; leaving everything that is certain behind and opening myself to the glory that lies in the unknown!''

''There's no better way to explore Santorini then by riding around on an ATV, exploring all the nooks and crannies and hidden gems this beautiful island has to offer. I can honestly say I've never felt so free and content (and sometimes a little scared of the other cars, but I got over that quickly enough.)"

Jessica Wilson
Account Manager

''Who would have thought that one day, the girl who was once scared of diving in a swimming pool because of a potential shark attack would surpass her fears and swim with giant Manatees off the coast of Florida! talk about travelling!''

''When talking about travel, the expression ''culture shock'' often comes to mind. Scuba diving with hammerhead sharks in the Bahamas or seals in Gaspésie gave me a glimpse of a whole other world…. It’s truly like travelling to another planet!''

Claudia Calderon
Activity Coordinator

''My parents taught me that the world is a place to discover. They brought me across the United States from East to West and from North to South. We discovered together Central America and many islands in the Caribbean’s.  I met wonderful people along the way and it made me a better person. Now it’s my turn to show the world to my family.''

''My best travel experience was when I visited my husband's native land.
Plane ticket: 600$
car rental: 200$
Understanding the culture of where my husband was born: Definately priceless!''

Thania Lévesque
Transportation coordinator

''While ice fishing on the Hudson Bay near the little village of Puvirnituq, I had my first sushi tasting experience fresh out of the water, later admired a majestic moose and ended the day watching the Northern Lights.''

Julie Labrecque-Pagé
Guide Coordinator & Tour leader

''While I was a scuba diving guide on a small Honduran Island, I had the opportunity so share the beauty of the Caribbean Sea with travelers from around the world.  The greatest experience I had was taking three Spanish teenagers to a dive site where we saw a leopard ray taking a nap under the sand.  The children’s eyes popped out of their sockets after I poked the ray with my fins and she circled around them. BEAU-TI-FUL!''

''travel experiences ignited in me a fire for adventure and discovery. They taught me that different people, places and things – and the contrasting of cultures, cuisines, climates, perspectives, etc – enrich one’s understanding for oneself far beyond anything you can know by hanging out in one’s own back yard. Travel is the coolest pastime around – you should definitely do it.''

''An injured foot and a cane surely didn't stop me from discovering 3 different countries in Europe in 14 days where the culture and people are as warm as the shining August sun. My advice: on your next trip, embrace nature, give a tree a hug!''

Rosa Telsaint
Accounting Manager

''I always wanted to travel but I never went that far. Nonetheless, my son Josiah's birth allowed me to live through him the discovery of nature, people and food. I couldn't have found a better guide who could help me feel the emotions you feel when you discover the unknown.''

''I spent eight long hours on a ferry from Athens to Santorini island. When I think about it now, it was definately worth it because the view from the top of the island was a breathtaking!''

''As I stand on the beach watching the waves hitting the shore, feeling the breeze at its best, hearing the soothing sound of the waves, sensing the hot sand under my feet, I ask myself:  “Why can’t this be my full time job?”
